The Forex Robot World Cup consists of 3 stages as outlined below.
Prize money: $150,000 USD
Stage 1 – Submissions
The submission phase started on the 20th of September 2009 and closed on November 25th 2009. Thats 67 days.
More than 300 EA (expert advisor) programmers from all around the world submitted their EAs.
Stage 2 – Live Trading
24 EAs were choosen according to the competitions rules. All trading robots were placed on $1000 real live accounts funded by the FRWC. All the trading statements can be seen live and updated every 15 minuets.
Stage 3 – Competition End
Sunday – January 31st, 2010 – 9 AM EST Video Presentation
Wednesday – February 3rd, 2010 – 9 AM EST: FXCM Interview
Friday – February 5th, 2010 – 9 AM EST: FRWC PDF Presentation
Tuesday – February 9th, 2010 – 9 AM EST: The Combo Content Page
Thursday – February 11th, 2010 – 9 AM EST: Blog Complimentary Copy Giveaway
Monday – February 15th, 2010 – 9 AM EST: FRWC Official Live Webinar
Tuesday – February 16th, 2010 – 9 AM EST: FRWC’s Royal Trader LAUNCH!
